If you’ve been attending Radiate on Thursdays and have been stepping out in praying for the sick that they may be healed, then this content is for you. If you haven’t attended Radiate but pray for the sick throughout your regular day, then this content is for you. If you do neither, I highly encourage that you begin doing so. Why, you ask?
2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
It’s a matter of belief. It’s all in the name of Jesus Christ. We get to go forth and be a witness! If the believers in the New Testament walked sound in their identity in Christ that was backed up by the power of the Holy Spirit, we ought to do just the same!
In my year of walking this out I have seen legs grow out (correcting back pain), pain be removed from shoulders, knees, backs, and necks, along with fevers being removed from just the laying of hands (no audible prayer involved!) and so much more. In December of 2015, after attending The Jesus Conference, I felt the Lord tell me to pick up a journal to document all the people that I pray for along with the accompanying testimonies. The next day, I received a journal as a gift (talk about hearing God) and have written names ever since.
Why is it important to carry a journal?
There may be times where you may struggle with a temptation or desires that are worldly. There may be times where you won’t see a manifestation of healing, or God moments at all. In these times, it is important to give thanks to God and look over the journal as encouragement to continue persevering. It is vital to rejoice in the testimonies that have occurred. I remember not seeing any healing for a month yet still rejoiced knowing that I was diligently seeking Him. God is completely FOR you! I’ve seen many believers be encouraged by the amount of names and events in my journal. Unbelievers have even asked about the contents within which paved the way for Jesus to be glorified and the gospel to be preached!
How hungry are you?
Remember, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). Don’t give up! Keep pressing in!!
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him
